"The implementation of the project 'Belgrade on the Waters' will help the Belgrade economy recover. We want to welcome investors from the United States, the European Union, from East and West, which will increase cash flow, and thus will prevent further borrowing in Belgrade. Belgrade has to catch up with cities of the world and the abandoned Coastal Basin in the center of the city can be converted into an attractive location, which creates possibilities for investment and new jobs," said Aleksandar Vucic.

"Belgrade on the waters" is a huge opportunity for the development of this city. Back in the 1980s, we had similar problems in New York that Belgrade faces today. People did not believe that New York could be restored, but I showed everyone that it was possible. I'm glad Vucic has such big ideas like the 'Belgrade on the Waters' and I am happy to see that what I did with the restoration of Times Square in New York, Vucic is planning to do in Belgrade," said Mayor Giuliani.

Fight corruption

"If you want quick development of Belgrade and Serbia, you must be resolute in the fight against corruption, otherwise investors will not come here.  Belgrade has all the prerequisites to become a successful metropolis: the beautiful old town and a great riverfront just like Paris, London and New York.  But most importantly, you have an enterprising people who will be headed by the resolute mayor Aleksandar Vucic, who will drive developments in Serbia," said Mayor Giuliani.

A great initiative for Serbia and Belgrade

"I am sure that the energy, expertise, determination and above all love that Aleksandar Vucic has for his native city will ensure that foreign investors will no longer avoid Belgrade as they do now, running away from corruption, bribery and crime, but instead they will flock to the city.  I urge our citizens to be brave and vote for change, and not to waste votes on smaller parties. Only the voice of the Serbian Progressive Party guarantees that Serbia can develop a better life for all citizens," said Tomislav Nikolic.
